Dear Friend, Please Visit Pittsburgh

It’s time for you to plan a day-trip, weekend getaway or full-fledged vacation. There’s plenty to see and do in the Steel City!

Whether it’s baseball, football or hockey season, I’ll show you why my heart bleeds black and gold.

Primanti’s sandwich is a Pittsburgh rite of passage. But if you refuse to put fries and coleslaw on your sandwich, we can try some cuisine from the local chefs at Smallman Galley or another one of Pittsburgh’s best restaurants.

We’ll check out some museums, like the Mattress Factory, the Warhol and the Carnegie Museum of Art and Natural History.

We’ll fuel up with a latte at one of Pittsburgh’s coolest coffee shops.

We can take a break from the urban landscape to explore nature.

We’ll treat ourselves to something sweet at one of Pittsburgh’s specialty ice cream shops.

I’ll show you the ins and outs of Pittsburgh’s shopping scene, and we’ll visit the coolest boutiques.

We can feast on a platter of tacos at Bakersfield and grab a drink at the rooftop bar next-door.

We can head to Shadyside or South Side for a beer at Urban Tap or a Coronarita at Steel Cactus.

We’ll barhop on Carson Street, which contains the country’s largest concentration of bars per block.

Before we say goodbye, we’ll brunch at Cafe Des Amis or Waffles INCaffeinated.

We’ll take plenty of pictures to show everyone how much fun we’re having!

So friend, please come visit me in Pittsburgh! I promise you won’t be disappointed.img_7959

Share this post with all of your friends who need to come and see what the Burgh has to offer!

    1. Hi Ashley, thanks so much for your comment! We are so happy to help you plan your visits to the city!

I took a look at your blog, and I can’t wait to try some of your recipes! We attempted a healthy buffalo chicken dip and it was a disaster 😳 We’ll have to try it again with your recipe!

      (P.S. Go Flashes! ⚡️)
