Street Style: The Eclectic Forager

Pittsburgh seems to come highly underestimated when it comes to fashion- but we’ve seen plenty of trendy Burgh trotters out and about on any day of the week, so why not show them off! With up and coming trend spots like Lawrenceville and Shadyside, it’s hard not to see style inspiration all around us. Put on your best threads, because our eyes will be peeled for you…

…and if we see someone’s outfit that is blog-worthy, they might just make our page… *wink wink*

We stumbled upon this hip chick on her lunch break. Why not use your time away from your desk with a view of the city as sweet as this one?

We immediately noticed her hand panted quirky jean jacket that matched her high-rise mom jeans. This girl was seriously too cool for us not to snap some pics of! Her eclectic accessories gave this tom-girl look some pretty touches. Try out her look for an easy thrifting day at the flea market.

Name: LJ

How would you describe your style? Eclectic, Edgy, & Comfy

Where are your favorite places to shop? Thrift stores & consignment shops (like Buffalo Exchange, Clothes Minded, & Avalon Exchange). For online shopping I like therealreal.com & thredup.com.

Where are you headed right now? Back from my lunch break!

Want to know where LJ got her sweet and unique jacket? She painted it! She’s actually an artist, and you can check out her work here!

Dress your best and look out for the Pittstop Crew girls scanning the streets of Pittsburgh with their camera!
