We’re constantly looking for an excuse to go shopping, and supporting local artists is the perfect justification. That’s why our little black and gold hearts floated up to Yinzer Heaven when we strolled into love, Pittsburgh.

This beautifully curated Mount Washington shop features a variety of items, all created by local makers. The masterminds behind the store, Kelly Sanders and Monica Yope, are members of Pittsburgh’s creative community. The women met at a local craft show and shared the sentiment that it would be wonderful to have a more permanent place where people could purchase the unique items for sale at these shows.

From this idea, love, Pittsburgh was born.

Kelly describes love, Pittsburgh as a gift shop for “locals and tourists alike.”

“There’s like crazy Pittsburgh pride, which is awesome,” said Kelly.

Kelly and Monica have embraced their neighbors with “Mount Washington” items available for purchase. It’s clear their neighbors have embraced them back.

“Oh my god this shop was needed here,” a woman exclaimed as she entered love, Pittsburgh. “Finally!”
